On September 10th there was an article published in De Paardenkrant about the Foal Auction Midden Nederland. Joyful Citty C mentioned in this article. Joyful was in the top 3 of showjumping foals and has been sold to Azerbaijan. However the first few years he will stay in the Netherlands.
Last Saturday came out the latest edition of In de Strengen, the magazine of the Royal Dutch Sporthorse Studbook. Besides the articles about the success of the Dutch horses, there was an article about the Elite Foal Auction Borculo. Wednesday September 3rd the Foal Auction Midden Nederland took place in the beautiful setting of De Nieuwe Heuvel in Lunteren. We can look back on a great auction. Joyful Citty (Numero UnoxPlacido) presented himself well and was in the top 3 of the showjumping foals. Joyful has been sold to Azerbaijan, but will remain in the Netherlands at least during the first few years. We proudly found out that the auction commission had given Joyful 90 points for his exterior during the selection day!
