2015 Great year for us as breeders

2015 was a great year for us as breeders, we enjoyed the performances of many horses we have bred. Three horses were special for us this year. They have created exciting and emotional moments:
– Highlander C – Numero Uno son of Ditty Dante C – Approved stallion KWPN/Royal Dutch Sporthorse
– Fitty Firenze C/Fifty Fifty – Numero Uno son of Vitty Valente C – Champion Mare show Noord-Holland/2nd National Mare Show KWPN Ermelo/IBOP ridingtest 83 points
– Cincitty C – Numero Uno son of Citty – 2nd place in the Longines Grand Prix of Beijing with Henrick von Eckermann in the Olympic Stadium
We are grateful that the owners of these horses give them all opportunities.

Grosso C sold to famous stable in Sweden

Grosso C (Eldorado van de ZeshoekxLupicor), son of Witty Luterra C was recently sold to a famous Swedish stable. Its Belgian owners had huge expectations of Grosso, but couldn’t reject the offer after Grosso’s first appearance in a tournament.
Grosso went to the stables of Sven Ingvarsson. Ingvarsson is known for his horses in the top segment. Hopefully we will hear more of Grosso over a number of years. For now this four-year-old is still developing well.

Cincitty in the media

There are already several articles published about Cincitty’s 2nd place in the GP of Beijing. For example on Horses.nl, the Longines-site, De Hoefslag and KWPN-news.

Cincitty 2nd in Longines Grand Prix Beijing

A magnificent 2nd place in the Longines Grand Prix of Beijing for Cincitty C (Numero UnoxRamiroxJoostxAbgar). Cincitty is son of Preferent Prestatie mare Citty. On October 25, 2015 Henrik von Eckermann (rider of Ludger Beerbaum stables) has performed with Cincitty in the Olympic arena of Beijing. Some short lines of text in the media (article Horses.nl): Twelve combinations started in the jump of. It was a hard-fought victory for Ludger Beerbaum. The first five combinations in the standings persuade their jump of within the 38 seconds. Beerbaum tugged at the short end and picked up the win with Leonidas (F. Lenardo) in 37.10 seconds. He defeated his rider Henrik von Eckermann with 0.12 seconds. Von Eckermann was riding the KWPN Cincitty C (F. Numero Uno). Third was the Belgian rider Gregory Wathelet with Collard (F. Coronado).
The participants included Rolf-Göran Bengtsson, Jeroen Dubbeldam, Penelope Leprevost, Marco Kutscher and ofcourse Maikel van der Vleuten. Great to see that Cincitty is successful in such a field. He is just doing it!

Fitty Faline C soon in showjumping tournaments

After having a foal last year, Fitty Faline C (Numero Uno x Witty Luterra) will make her first steps in showjumping within a few weeks. She is now owned by a professional showjumping stable and ridden by an Italian rider. She seems to have above average aptitude for jumping. We hope she will be successful in this carreer.

Katara Citty C and Kaneblue Citty C to their new owners

Soon Katara Citty C (ChamanxLupicor) and Kane Blue Citty C (Plot BluexPlacido) are leaving to their new owners. Hopefully they both go for a nice career in showjumping and maybe also breeding. Blue Kane goes to a famous owner of a stallion stud. Katara goes to Belgium to the same stable as her half-brother Grosso C (by Eldorado van de Zeshoek).

Fitty Firenze C 2nd at KWPN Championships 2015

On Friday, August 14th the KWPN championships were held for mares and foals. During the Mare inspection at her region, Fitty Firenze C was champion of the day and her age category. During this event she was invited to compete at the KWPN (Royal Dutch Sporthorse) championships.
The mares had to present themselves individually and later in the group to the jury. The tension was significantly increased when finally two mares, both sired by Numero Uno and both bred in Limburg remained for the first and second place. Ultimately Fitty Firenze C became 2nd of Netherlands best mares between 4-7 yrs of age. A great achievement. Congratulations for the owners!

Grosso C rising talent in Belgium

Grosso C (Eldorado of the Hexagon x Witty Luterra C) was sold as a foal at the Foal Auction Brabant. After 3 years of growing at the stables of Miranda Belder, he ended up last year in Belgium. Here he is making good progress in his jumping career. There are many expectations for this generous lined gelding. He gets every opportunity to develop for a good future in showjumping.
