Kaneblue Citty C

A somewhat rare photograph of colt Kane Blue Citty C, son of Grand Prix stallion Plot Blue (Marcus Ehning) and Vitty Valente C (Ster PROK).
In the field Kaneblue Citty C is already dominating the other horses. It is a real stallion, playful, he bites sometimes, but also heartwarming. He is getting his grey color now.

Golden character and color: Katara Citty C

Katara Citty C, daughter of the Grand Prix stallion Chaman (Ludger Beerbaum) and Witty Luterra C (LupicorxRamiro) is developing well. It is a big, long-lined, high legged foal. Her golden color reflects her golden character. What a nice filly to deal with.
Three brothers/sisters of the mother of Katara are jumping on Grand Prix-level, two brothers/sisters of the mother are 1.40/1.45m showjumpers. Out of sisters from the mother come again six 1.30m horses one International showjumpers and two Grand Prix jumpers.
Katara Citty C is a half sister of Ditty Dante C (by Vingino). Ditty Dante C (NMK mare, Elite) is the mother of the KWPN approved stallion Highlander (by Numero Uno).

Highlander available at Houwen Stud

Highlander has a new stable at Houwen Stud in Wanssum. His owners Egbert Schep and Jos Althuijzen have stationed him here. The first mares are already pregnant. It is nice that he has returned to a place near his birth place!

Illumen C PROK

The 2-year-old mare Illumen C (Numero Uno x Ahorn Z x Voltaire) got her PROK certificate on May 26th 2015. If a mare is PROK, it means that the mare meets the requirements of the Royal Dutch Sporthorse on X-rays health. We are very pleased that she, like her mother, has received the designation.

Highlander C approved stallion Royal Dutch Sporthorse

On 23 May 2015 Highlander C (Numero UnoxVingino) out of National Mare Show and Elite mare Ditty Dante C has gotten his approval for the Royal Dutch Sporthorse Studbook. Highlander had excellent figures:

Highlander is Ditty Dante’s firstborn son. We are extremely proud to be part of this. Highlander is owned by Stal Schep and Mr. Althuijzen and will be available at the stud of Jos Houwen in Wanssum.

Youthful Hitty Quintess C obtains the Ster predicate

On April 28th 2015 the first studbook mare inspection of this year was organized. This took place at Hendrix Stables in Kessel. The not even 3 year old Hitty Quintess C has performed very well and she was promoted with the Ster predicate. Hitty Quintess C has the Grand Prix showjumper Plot Blue as her father and Vitty Valente C (Placido x Ramiro) is her mother. She is owned by Redfield Farm (USA) and Hendrix Stables.
Hitty Quintess C is a full sister of Kane Blue Citty C, the colt that was born in 2015.

Colt by Plot Blue born

Vitty Valente C got a lovely colt on Monday, April 20th, 2015. Father is the Grand Prix stallion Plot Blue. A half-brother of this foal is successful in 1.30m international youngster classes, a half-sister was the best showjumper in the KWPN IBOP-preformance test in 2014 with 83 points.
Mother Vitty has 3 brothers/sisters which jump on Grand Prix level, 3 brothers/sisters perform at 1.30m and 2 brothers/sisters at 1.40/1.45m level. Out sisters of Vitty are six horses performing at 1.30m and three horses on international jumpers to Grand Prix level. Further a brother of Vitty was Champion of KWPN Stallion inspection. A cousin is at this moment in the Performance Test to become an approved stallion of the KWPN/Royal Dutch Sporthorse. Several foals out this line are sold through foal auctions (for example at Elite auction Borculo and Prinsjesdag).
In the picture the foal is 6 days old.

Derbyland 2nd in Championship KNHS Z-jumping

On March 28th 2015 there was a thrilling battle for the KNHS Z-jumping championship in Ermelo. Derbyland (CorlandxLadalco) was 0.08 hundredths of a second slower and thus 2nd. A great achievement for rider Mitchel Sonneveld. His family has bred Derbyland out of G.Citty (F. Ladalco), daughter of matriarch Citty (RamiroxJoostxAbgar). Later that day, Mitchel grabbed the ZZ-championship title with another horse. All in all a great result, congratulations!

Highlander C (Numero UnoxVingino) starts his Performance Test

On Tuesday, March 17th Highlander C out of National Show and Elite mare Ditty Dante C started his Performance Test at the KWPN centre in Ermelo. When a stallion is selected for the Performance Test, he is working on the last stretch towards approval. The stallions will be tested for 70 days in their natural talent for the sport. They will be selected with a view to their possible role as a sire. During the Performance Test the stallion has to pass several key stones. Not every stallion will pass the whole 70 days and get his approval. Now Highlander C has to develop and we need to cross our fingers!
